Daniel Farmer became a member of the IONCON team in July 2017 after graduating from Appalachian State University with a BA in Building Science: Architectural Technology and Design. During his final year at App State, Daniel participated in the IDEXlab design+build program as Architectural Project Manager during which he gained a practical, hands-on understanding of green design, sustainable construction practices, and renewable engineering. He was also a three-year member of the American Institute of Architecture Students in which he held the position of Marketing Coordinator and had the opportunity to attend national leadership and technical conferences. Since then, he has engaged in part time design work for local firms and independent commercial projects in Boone and the surrounding area.
